About Alana

I believe that vitality, presence and joy are our birthright—but so are struggle, change, and imbalance. We all experience dis-ease, and profound transitions that challenge our sense of self and wellbeing. I have lived it too. As a homeopath, I view these two sides of life as deeply connected, as it is in addressing our health challenges and emotional struggles, both large and small, that we are able to find greater resilience, joy, and ease.

I work with a combination of classical homeopathy, health coaching, and flower essences to support wellness at multiple levels: homeopathy to trigger the body’s innate healing response, health coaching to remove lifestyle factors that might stand in the way of better health, and flower essences to smooth out the emotional bumps in the road—and for their easy and forgiving nature because I love to offer my clients tools that they can use on their own if they wish!

I have a special interest in supporting clients through significant life transitions such as parenting milestones, menopause, medication transitions, medical diagnoses, and end-of-life care. These events often throw us out of balance, but when supported they can be tremendous opportunities for growth as they give us a window into what the body/mind/spirit is struggling with.

I am guided by a spirit of curiosity, collaboration, and compassion, and would be honored to accompany you in your healing.

I discovered flower remedies in my 30s, while I was newly resident in a foreign country and feeling quite lost. I had seen the little brown bottles in nearly every chemists shop, and one day I picked one up—discovering more power in those drops than I could have imagined. That first remedy shifted feelings I had been carrying for years and helped me recover my health to a level I hadn’t imagined possible.

This triggered a deep curiosity that led me to homeopathy, first for my own health and later as a profession. Like most people, my life has been a patchwork of traumas big and small, wellness and health challenges. These experiences have left me fascinated by the process of change—how we navigate the shifts life presents in order to evolve and grow—and today I am fortunate to travel these paths alongside my clients.
